We are pleased to announce the launch of our brand new website 18th May 2009 offering solid advice and information to people travelling North West of Thailand but where is North West Thailand?

North West Thailand covers Some of Chiang Mai province and Mae Hong Son and Tak province complete.  This is actually a massive area in fact just Mae Hong Son and Tak province make up a total of 40, 220.09 km² and statistically the 8th and 4th largest provinces in Thailand respectively with a combined population of over 650,000 people.  These figures do not include sections of Chiang Mai province that we have included into our geographic region such as Doi Inthanon, Mae Chaem. 

Although our website is still in it's early stages we are working around the clock to add content relative to travel for prospective tourists but also used as a general information site targeted specifically to residents of North West Thailand.

Northwestthailand.com is a community website and funded mainly through the google adsense programme and featured ad listings that we offer to our business clients located in North West Thailand and Chiang Mai.

Business Advertising is Free

Thanks to our Google adsense programme our advertising tariffs are exceptional especially considering the level of ad we are able to provide even for a free listing.  We only accept ads from businesses residing within our regions and only businesses that would compliment a travel based website.
