Wisut Buachum, director of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) office in Mae Hong Son said this week that Tourism for Pai district generated B1 billion for the local economy this year alone. 
Some time ago plans were being drawn up for a proposed cable car running from Mae Taeng to Mae Hong Son. Typical of projects such as this everything starts off with masses of publicity yet fades into the background over time with the project never to be seen or heard of again. Latest News
